Does anyone read this blog besides Amy, Becky, Michelle and Michele (thanks by the way)? I'm feeling quite invisible lately. I can't get seem to get more followers on my Kayteedids facebook or twitter pages and no one seems to comment on my blog. I'm in a "delete all my social media" mood so if you really do follow this blog can you comment and let me know please? I'm petty sure you can comment anonymously without signing up for a blogger account. If not, someone tell me that please.

Thanks,
a lonely mom who lives in the boonies and relies on social media contact for her social outlet

Don't quit! I read your blog! I have it in my reader account and check it everyday. It's the only way I can stay up to date on all these cute kiddos and my dear friends.

Love you my dear!

I know I'm one of the people you mentioned you know read your blog but please don't quit blogging. I love it. I love to see Kaylee and all her shenanigans (and I'm really looking forward to her future shenanigans as well!!) and seeing you and all the fun things you do. So from one secluded rural mommy to another, don't stop blogging! We enjoy it too much!

Don't stop... I love to read about your mommy daughter experiences and see Kaylee growing up in the pics. I alwsys think back to Lindy being at the stage Kaylee is going through when I read your posts. I also love seeing all your creative handy work! Jamie

Hi Kate! This is Andrea Stallings (maiden name - aka Hamm) I read your blogs too... don't stop they are great! I found you through either Mandy or Heather's blog. :) I love reading about your "Mom/daughter" experiences since we have daughters around the same age. I just moved to Oklahoma about 2 months ago and am a stay at home mom now and basically know nobody out here yet - so I know what you mean about feeling invisible - but you aren't!!! :)

Kate,

I check your blog prettu often - it's bookmarked on my blackberry for easy access. Love your stories and pics and it is pretty awesome to see your daughter grow and keep informed about the best mac 'n cheese according to Kaylee. Keep on posting. You know, your posts are a great "baby" book for Kaylee when she gets older and can read through them herself.

Keep on blogging. :) Raquel

Then

During the last few weeks of pregnancy, Kate listened to Brad Paisley's new song "Then". She didn't just listen to it a few times, she obsessively played the song on repeat, learned every word, and sung it at the top of her lungs while driving. Then one day a few weeks after Kaylee was born, Kate was driving with Kaylee by themselves. Kaylee began to cry...then scream. It didn't matter how much Kate reassured her, pulled over to make sure something wasn't wrong, or attempted to hold the pacifier in place with one arm backwards while driving. It finally occurred to Kate that maybe Kaylee wants mommy to sing to her (although no one else would want this!). So Kate put track #4 on and began to sing. Kaylee immediately calmed down. Low and behold, it's not even mommy's singing that Kaylee likes! It's Brad's!
